The EDGE Consortium is comprised of students and faculty, in partnership with industry and government, and is led by presidents and deans from some of the nation’s leading research universities and schools of engineering. The goals of the CHIPS and Science Act–to boost U.S. competitiveness, innovation, and national security in the global semiconductor landscape–won’t be achieved unless we grow the engineering workforce significantly and soon! To that end, EDGE is committed to doubling the engineering workforce for semiconductor-related careers by the end of the decade.
