EDGE Scholars Program hosts Lori Harvey, Senior Manager STEM Education & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Lead

With over 15 years of experience in helping organizations and companies translate goals into reality, Lori is a senior manager at Hitachi High-Tech America, where she leads and oversees the global STEM outreach, diversity, equity and inclusion, and corporate social responsibility programs. She has expertise in leading change, leading people, building collaborations, and delivering results that align with the Hitachi Group Identity and brand value.

As a strategist and thought leader, she connects the dots for effective outcomes, working with partners in education, business, and civic sectors to create an ecosystem that develops a pipeline of potential employees with STEM skills and competencies. She also leverages her experience to support initiatives, grant writing, fundraising, research, policy, and advocacy in the areas of social impact and development, community social responsibility, STEM education, workforce development, and diversity. She is a proud award winner of the Hitachi Inspiration of the Year Global Award for CSR in 2018 and 2020, and the Hitachi High-Tech Way Award for Crossing Borders in 2019.
